I have entered the Cardiff Survival of the Fitness Challenge in October 2013 and hope to raise as much as I can for the British Lung Foundation. Mum was the chairperson of the Carmarthen Breatheasy Group where she helped many people understand the complexities of coping with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. Mum was diagnosed with COPD in 2005 and later in the year retired on ill health grounds.
